To cater the educational needs of the people in and around the Bobbili town, the Society, with the following objectives, established Sri Gayatri Degree College in the year 2000-01.
 
OBJECTIVES:-  
To establish and run Educational Institution in Telugu and English Media to remove illiteracy.

To promote, establish maintain and assist or are in maintaining Education and Technical and other institutions with a view to impart education in all branches in general and in an advanced Technology, management education and Science in particular and thus in security gainful employment for the youth of the country.

To start library, reading-room and literary unions, to develop consciousness among the rural, urban and tribal people against drug abuse, aids, health, nutrition, medical, family welfare planning, adulteration, exploitation, pollution, environmental and public Hygiene

To run the Institution in a systematic manner with strict observation of discipline.

To provide residential and non-residential accommodation for the students.

To promote social and cultural activities among the students.

To provide sound education and character build-up through inculcation of high ideals, good behaviour and moral attitude.
