College Emblem

The College emblem depicting certain symbols denotes significance as follows:

On its periphery, the emblem shows a crescent circular drawing as outer ring signifying the Inquisitive Spirit of Man.

The thick band area containing the motto inscribed "SA VIDYA YA VIMUKTAYE" indicates the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom saying that education  liberates the human soul from the steeped ignorance with the suggestion of spiritual journey of the self from darkness to light.

The inner ring next below the caption represents the triumph of the Human spirit over Nescience, signifying the journey towards the dawn of light and understanding.

Getting to the core of the emblem we have an aura encircling the inner most object. It is the symbol of the Inward Eye which is the gateway to the unfolding of the cosmic mystery of the Universe.

The raising sun is shown as spreading out his brilliant rays of splendor in all directions. This image conveys the meaning of diffusing knowledge which is essential for achieving Human Progress.

The open book at the center is the symbol of inexhaustible treasure of ancient Indian lore down through the ages.

The Buddhist stupa symbolizes a distinctive religious, cultural, efflorescence of Indian life with a controlling influence on human life conveying the massage of unity in Diversity and the creed of non-violence.

The emblem on the whole is a replica of a true conscious and conscientious Vision of the Indian philosophy of life.
