     Miriam College of Education has been established in the year 1999 by Miriam Children's Home, Amalapuram, a registered charitable society founded in the year 1969 by Bishop Ernest P. Komanapalli & Mrs. Rachel J Komanapalli, Founder Chairman and Director, the Internationally renowned Christian Missionaries with a view to impart young men and women the nobleness of the profession of teaching and train them to become the teachers of the highest caliber. The main objective of the institution is to assist the Christian Students in their quest for knowledge.

     The Miriam College of Education is functioning under the supervision of Rev. Carl David Komanapalli, Secretary & Correspondent. The newly constructed building fully furnished equipped was a munificent gift from Erikshjalpen, Sweden.
