Special Facilities available in the College

The institute has been established in the extent of 10.0 acres of land with full-fledged playground (cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, shuttle etc.).   The institute has provided additional recreation facilities like indoor and outdoor games.

Quality circles are created in the college to have frequent interaction with the students and with the parents to identify weakness of the students to improve the performance levels.  

In addition to the above, 2hours per week have been slotted for Business Club activities. Where surprise quizzes, Role-plays, Group Discussion, art of Public Speaking are conducted for the benefit of the students.  The students are encouraged to participate in Youth Festivals, Seminars, Market Survey, Industrial Visits and Court visits relevant to their disciplines for having exposure in the real like situation.  Seminars, business clubs and various personality development programs are being conducting frequently for overall development of the students.  

SIMS gives emphasis on students career guidance and placement through a committee consisting of students, faculty members and the Director to assist them to plan their career in management profession as well as the project works and final placements some of the organisations which have facilitated the students in the past for summer and final placements are as follows: 

Wipro, Bank of America, ICICI Bank, HDFC, Indiabulls Securities, Kotak Securities, Centurian Bank, Castrol, Tata Consultancy Services, ITC, Dr. Reddy Labs, Sun Pharma, Saffron Publication, TATA Indicom, Bharti Televentures, Bajaj Allianz, ING Vysya, Genepact, Convergeon, Accenture, Nipuna, Brigade, Virtusa and Infosys etc. 

In order to develop a good relationship with the industry for the benefit of the students the institute has collaborated with SISS consultancy to cater for corporate training, placements and consultancy.  Which had organized training programs for industries like L & T, NTPC, Hindustan Zinc, Baja Motors, RCL, Coramandal Fertilizers Ltd., Visakhapatnam Port Trust etc. which ultimately helping the institutes to get recognition by the industry.  The institution is going to be a Centre for creation and sharing the knowledge in the field of Management and I T industry with special emphasis.
