SRNM College of Education (SRNMCE) is established by Sri Rambha Narayanamma Memorial Educational and Welfare Society. This Institution offers aspiring pedagogies of high quality teacher education in the serene suburbs of Rajahmundry.
This Institution owes to global standards in teacher education. As aptly envisaged by the eminent philosopher, educationist, Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishna that one should utilise the opportunities now open to us to develop competency and ability that will help us to go ahead; this Society has been inspired to promote quality teacher education among rural poor under the Chairmanship of Late Sri R.S.CHALAM to provide the rural youth the facility of becoming quality teachers.
With a felt need of producing good teachers to the society who can lit the Lamp of knowledge in the little children, this institution has been started during the academic year 2007-2008.
The success of any institution totally depends upon the well organized people working with proper objectives.
A well experienced principal having put in 31 years of experience in teacher education is leading the team of teacher educators with team spirit and dedication. The work is more like a symphony with a leader having prognosis of a guide and a good vision.
The faculty members of the college are encouraged continually to upgrade their competencies through a variety of ways such as faculty development programs ,Discussions, Seminars, refresher courses, Guest lectures by eminent people in the field.
The teaching methodology in this institution emphasizes more on experimental learning and hands on participatory methods and in turn it paves the way for the pupil teachers to become good quality professionals in the field of education.
The college library is providing with adequate text books, reference books, journals, magazines, news papers etc and is open to all the students and the faculty.
The institution is having well equipped laboratories related to physical science, biological science, psychology, languages.
This institution fulfils all the requirements of the trainee to become excellent in his career as a teacher.
