      Though not well-educated Sri Vundavilli Satyanarayana Murthy popularly named as Rayavaram Munsiff attained permanency in the service of the people of East Godavari in particular and Andhra Pradesh in general. His dauntless courage and selfless motive of establishing and educational institution paved the path to found V.S.M college in town of Ramachandrapuram. Within a short span of time the massive structure of V.S.M College, the temple of learning appeared and captivated the on-lookers. The college is illustrious with Magnificient buildings, well-equipped Library and laboratories and an extensive play-field. With this establishment, the name of V.S.M., shines with sparking brilliance of knowledge, will all modern subjects of study at U.G and P.G. levels. 

        At present, the college is passing through a phase of expansion and growth under the dynamic President & Correspondentship of Sri Sathyanarayana Rao, M.V.V. and the enthusiastic administration of our present Principal, Dr. J. durga Prasad. 

        The Management of V.S.M. College knows fully well that if the quality of teaching is good, the academic standards of the students are bound to be high. It believes in the quality of education, quality, in competence and character of the teachers. Hence, Management lays particular stress on quality of teaching. V.S.M College is forever a seat of qualityeducation.
