     A four semester Post-Graduate Program in Anthropology is offered. Undergraduates in Arts & Science subjects are eligible for admission based on the rank obtained in the Common Entrance Test conducted by the university in the concerned discipline.

     During the first two semesters all the admitted candidates pursue core courses in all the three branches of anthropology @five courses per semester. In the fourth & fifth semesters, the candidates pursue courses of their choice in one of the specialization Socio-cultural Anthropology or Biological Anthropology or Paleo Anthropology. A three-week field-work in a tribal area is compulsory for all the students in the fourth semester. The details of the courses offered are furnished below.
