Computerized Assessment Centre (CAC) :
The Computerized Assessment Center, was established in the
department in 2002. The center with LAN facility allows the staff,
scholars and students of the department to administer psychological
tests using the computer. This facilitates uniform administration
and scoring of the various psychological tests. It would help to
create a large database which provides the scope for developing norms
for the tests.
Centre for
Psychological Assessment and Counselling (CPAC):
The CPAC established in the
year 1997 offers professional psychological services to the community.
The three major spheres in which the CPAC offers its services are:
Educational. The CPAC would provide guidance and
counseling to students in choosing their careers, overcome learning and
behavioral problems.
Industrial. The services of the CPAC can be availed by
employees to help overcome stress, improve behavioral skills and become
effective individuals.
Family. The CPAC would provide assistance to
individuals and family members overcome adjustment problems, cope with
interpersonal and group problems. The CPAC functions everyday from 9 am
to 5 pm except Sundays. Consultation will be by appointment. The
consultation charges for the psychological assessment depends on
the type of number of tests administered. Consultation charges for
counseling depends on the number of sessions.
