The Centre has its own library and documentation cell for the use of researchers, working on issues related to South Asia and procured a good number of books, journals and newspaper clippings related to the SAARC studies.
The Library has a collection of about 1600 books as on date on different subjects viz., economics, political science and international relations, sociology, gender and history, related to SAARC/South Asia/Regional Studies. It has been subscribing twenty important journals on these aspects. The library is possessing most of the publications of the SAARC Secretariat, Kathmandu, Nepal. A number of publications from RIS (Research and Information System), New Delhi on SAARC and other regions in Asia have been procured. Similarly, it has been acquiring the journals published by the most of the Area Studies Centres of the UGC. The documentation cell of the Centre is maintaining all press clippings on South Asia/SAARC regularly.
