The Centre has its own library and documentation cell for the use of researchers, working on issues related to South Asia and procured a good number of books, journals and newspaper clippings related to the SAARC studies.

      The Library has a collection of about 1200 books as on date on different subjects viz., economics, politics and international relations, sociology, gender and history, related to South Asia and other regions in Asia. The library is possessing most of the publications of the SAARC Secretariat, Kathmandu, Nepal. It maintains several data- base sources from the publications of the World Bank, United Nations, UNDP, and UNCTAD etc. A number of publications from RIS, New Delhi have been procured. Similarly, it has been acquiring the journals published by the most of the Area Studies Centres of the UGC. The documentation cell of the Centre is maintaining all press clippings on South Asia regularly.
