EXTENSION SERVICES

One of the objectives of M.A. in Human Rights and Duties program is to study, document and create awareness among people and communities about human rights violations based on age, gender, caste, religious class and ethnic considerations and discriminations in tribal, rural and urban contexts by individuals, relatives and organized groups. The field work program and dissertation writing which are part of the curriculum would contribute towards these goals to some extent. In addition to this, the students are encouraged to take people centered extension activities.

The students of sociology are also trained to take up such activities.
