Apply through the Principal/Proper Channel in the prescribed
application from at least one month before the commencement of the
course. For further details write to the Director.

Regular class work begins at 9.30 am in the Lecture Hall of the
Staff College. It is expected that teachers are punctual. During
summer, classes start at 8. am.

A session-wise time table will be given to each participant one
week in advance. The names of the Resource Persons and the topics on
which they are making their presentations will be provided in the time
table. Possible changes that may occur from time to time will be
announced beforehand. In case of any sudden change in the programme
due to non-availability of a resource person, classes will not be
cancelled. The subject will be dealt with by someone in later
sessions. Meanwhile the suspended classes will be converted into a
discussion session on selected topics. The commitment of the teacher
to the profession demands such leadership qualities in times of
contingencies.

It is expected of the teacher that decency and decorum be
maintained in the classroom. Any type of indiscipline or misbehavior
on part of the participating teacher during the period of the
programme will be duly recorded and reported to the authorities
concerned. This does not mean strict rules and regulation are imposed
upon responsible teachers. But this may work as a guiding principle in
the working sessions as it is training institute. There are marks for
overall participation, response and discipline.

During leisure time, opportunities for the development of
personality through extra curricular activities like debating,
organization of meetings, discussions with the faculty of Individual
disciplines, research activities, library work, etc., will be
provided.

Every participant will be provided with facilities for a
comfortable stay in the hostel. He will be provided with a bed, a
pillow, bed sheets, etc. Participants are directed to follow the rules
and regulations of the hostel.

No participant can leave headquarters during the period of the
course without prior permission of the Director.

Single second class rail fare by the shortest route to the place
of work will be paid by cheque on the last day. Living allowance (DA)
will be paid at the end of the course. Each participants is expected
to sign the DA bill at the end of the course for the amounts received
including the expenditure on tea, hospitality, etc. if any. No
allowance will be paid for the day(s) of absence or leave. No TA will
be paid to the participant who leaves the college in the middle of the
course. TA will be paid as per University norms. No DA shall be paid
for the days of journey.
