        The P.G. center is headed by the Special officer. The P.G. center is generally administrated by the rules and regulations as propounded by the University. All Administrative aspects relating to planning, Man Power requirement, recruitment, training, performance Appraisal and Financial Management have been governed by the University policies and practices. The Non-Teaching administrative set up consisting one superintendent, one senior assistant, 2 junior assistant, 6 Typist, 2 Re-assistant and 20 class- 4 Employees.

Academics

      The PG centre is offering  M.A.Degree in economics, rural development , Library and information sciences, Masters Degree in Commerce, Business Administrative, B.L., M.L., M.A., M.Sc., Mathematics courses. The BOS is the apex body for the designing and redesigning the curriculum. All the senior faculty members are nominated to the board once in three years that BOS had to meet once in a year. It is the practice of this institution to add new courses considering the demand for such courses from the society and industry. Some courses (Papers) which have become redundant have been dropped from time to time. Moreover, taking learners interest into consideration, more number of specializations have been offered to satisfy diversified and growing needs of the society.

Teaching -  Learning and Evaluations:

        The institution is providing conductive environment to the learners. A part from the regular classrooms teaching (supported by OHP Displays) debates, seminars, GD's and Quiz Competitions are also being held. while Law Students are deputed to courts, the M.B.A students are encouraged to visit industries to gain appropriate expertise. The students of rural development department are deputed to rural areas for undertaking various field works to have insight into various social economic problems that have contemporary relevance. The staff of the P.G. centre are possessing with highest qualification and necessary experience to handle various programs effectively and efficiently. At present all the departments are having adequate number of competent staff .The evaluation methodology of the institution is similar to that of the University.

Research, Consultancy and extension:

        All the departments of P.G. centre are pursuing advanced academic research, conferring M.Phils and Ph.D. Degrees to scholars. The staff of the departments like rural development ,Economics and commerce and management studies are undertaking various research projects funded by agencies like U.G.C, AICTE, ICSSR .Occasionally some staff members services have solicited for consultancy by local private institutions, local government and local industrial units.

       The services of the staff members have been availed by the district administration as "Resource Persons" for workshops on different areas. To mention few , Janmabhoomi, Disaster Management, Micro Level Planning, Evaluation of rural development programs.

Student Support and Progression:
     
The department of commerce and Management studies has set up "Centre for Promoting Excellency in Management" (CPEM) to encourage students to conduct weekly programmes to facilitate  inter personal relations, communication skills and problem solving abilities. The staff has been offering unstinted support for their progression as a result of MBA students soon after the in completion of their course have been absorbed in Government and private jobs. The Commerce students are organizing various interactive programmes through their Commerce club by inviting local entrepreneurs, bankers, insurers etc.

       Since majority of the students have come from  rural and neglected sections of the society of this backward region,  special care is exercised through academic and personal counseling. Students are guided and motivated to prepare for competitive examinations . Students support and continuous counseling is the unique experience of this P.G. Centre.
