“The winner is always part of the answer and the loser is always part of the problem.”
“If you want to succeed, double your failure rate.”
“Rudeness is the weak man’s imitation of strength.”
Wait …. Wait…
What are you thinking? I am not taking any Personality development class right now. In fact,
I quoted some of the phrases from the book You Can Win by Shiv Khera. This book has many such
phrases in every page. There are numerous books on personality development available in English as
well as in all regional languages. Then why this book came out? The answer is simple. This book is for
all who wanted to examine themselves and to incorporate some of the skills mentioned in the book.
Shiv Khera is a management guru, visiting professor in management schools all
over the world and a corporate trainer for many years now. His experience shows all
through the book with a down to earth approach even for the most complex problem.
The book has a common sense appeal and induces the reader to refer to it repeatedly.
This book is not the one among read and forget type books but a kind of a construction
manual helping the reader build his life into a successful and fulfilling one.
He has the capacity to simplify very deep philosophies and make
the reader realize its true worth. He divided this book into 8 chapters.
In each chapter, he discussed about each important subject in life. For
example, Attitude, motivation, self-esteem, personality, habits ….etc.
Like any other book writer, he also explained about goals, dreams, desires,
and fears. However, he uses his own way of narration through out this book.
He mentioned his own and as well as a host of other world leader’s experiences
and insights to keep the reader’s mind fresh and enthusiastic throughout the book.
The book makes you think about the ultimate goal in your life and how you are going to achieve it.
One thing we should realize is that we are not expected to win every battle but the war has to be won at last.
Reading many times this book, leads you to the winner’s podium.
