Advisory Committee
Meetings and Resolutions
The
first meeting of the Advisory Committee was held on
02-03-2006 with Prof. L. Venugopal Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, in Chair.
The
Committee resolved the following :

1. |
Constitute Academic Audit Committees for each colleges and one
committee for Research Centres and other Special Cells for Promotion
of Academic Excellence and Healthy practices. |

2. |
Constitute the Committees for Preparation of Development Plans for
2006-2007
|
|
3. |
Design and Provide Activity Dairy to the heads of all Academic
departments
|
|
4. |
Constitute Quality Circles in all Academic Departments and Library.
|
|
5. |
Institute Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Award for Best Academician of
the year on certain defined criteria.
|
|
6. |
Bring out a Quarterly News Bulletin.
|
|
7. |
Design and develop Student Charter of the University
|
|
8. |
Collect feedback from faculty, students and other stake holders of the
University. |
Second Meeting of the Advisory Committee was held on 28th
February 2007
The
committee resolved the Following
|
1. |
To organize Research Paper contest for students of the University. The
Principals of respective Campus colleges are requested to select a
common theme and communicate the same to all the departments under
their jurisdiction. The list of students who are interested to
participate may be directed to the Dean of Student Affairs, before 10th
March, 2007. The Dean of Student Affairs is requested to organize the
contest before 20th March, 2007. The winners of the
contest will be given Merit Certificates on 26th April,
2007 by the Vice Chancellor.

2. |
To organize Research Paper contest for the Research Scholars at the
Department level before 10th April, 2007. The Principals
of respective Campus College are requested to communicate the same to
the heads of department. The Heads of Department are required to
inform the details of the contest to the Research Scholars and take
necessary steps to organize the contest. The name of the Best
Research paper Awardee may be communicated to the Principal. The
Awardees will be given Merit Certificates by the Vice-Chancellor on 26th
April, 2007.

To organize an Orientation Programme on process Re Engineering for the
officers of Central Administrative Office. Prof. K. Srinivasa Rao,
Coordinator, ISO Certification Committee is requested to organize the
programme in the month of March, 2007. |

4. |
Resolved to constitute a team for the preparation of Self Study Report
for NAAC. |
|
5. |
The Third meeting of the advisory committee was held on 10-3-2007. The
member received the progress and performance of IQAC. The coordinator,
IQAC presented the feed back reports and performance reports of
faculty members and Academic departments. The member expressed their
satisfaction over the feed back from students, Parents, support staff,
Alumni and Retired Teachers. The committee resolved to constitute college wise committees to look
after the preparations of the NAAC Peer team. |
Committee on Performance Parameters of University
Constituted a Committee
on Performance Parameters. With IQAC coordinators as convener. The Head of
the Departments are the members of this Committee. The meeting of the
committee on Performance Parameters was held on 19th
August,2006 and finalized the performance indicators and measurement
criteria.
