The Centre has been offering Research facilities as part of the Andhra University Research and Development Programme.

 All the courses have been furnished with computer labs. All the Departments are supported with Library facilities of the Center. The Center has a newly constructed separate and spacious accommodation for library and reading room.

This Center is running an attached hostel from 1978 for the students. The ladies hostel with a plinth area of 8680 sft. was constructed with an estimated cost of 33 lakh rupees in 2003. The ladies hostel, adjacent to the center named after Samyukta Bullayya, accommodates 70 girl students.

The center is having spacious ground fields for physical education and extra curricular activities. The Physical Education activities in the campus are carried on in accordance with the relevant rules of the University. The centre is running N.S.S.Unit, Red Ribbon Club and Youth Red Cross Organization, besides conducting a number of literary and extra-curricular activities.  With all these facilities, the AU Campus at Kakinada is having all the potential to blossom into a University.
