                  NSS ACTIVITIES FOR THE YEAR 2005-2006
  • 77 NSS Special camps conducted by various colleges from 01-04-2005 to till
     date  with 3,850 NSS volunteers under A.U. jurisdiction.

  • 4 NSS Youth Leadership Training Programmes conducted from Oct. 2005 to
     till date with 550 NSS volunteers under A.U. jurisdiction.

  • 16 NSS volunteers deputed to Pre-Republic Day Parade organized by NSS
    Regional Centre, Hyderabad at Srikalahasti, Chittor district.

  • One NSS volunteer and 1 Programme Officer deputed to attend Republic Day
     Parade going to be held at New Delhi.

  • Nearly 30,000 NSS volunteers participated in AASHA  programme.

  • Blood Donation programmes were also organized.

  • Plantation programmes were also organized.

  • Two teams of giril volunteers and 2 Programme Officers participated in National
    Integration Camp (NIC)

  • From July 2005 to till date, 120 NSS Programme Officers trained under a
    10-day Orientation Training Programme and 17 NSS Programme Officers
    trained under a 5-day Refresher  Course organized by NSS Training &
    Orientation Centre (NSS TOC), Andhra University.
