A very good lecture gallery with necessary furniture, well equipped laboratories for research and M.Sc. practical work is available in the Department.
 

Over head projectors, Slide Projectors are being used for effective teaching programme.
 

Facilities such as separate animal house, instrumentation room, cold room, molecular biology and genetic engineering laboratories are also available in the Department.
 

UV visible Spectrophotometer, refrigerated centrifuges, ELISA reader, laminar flow, freeze dryer, blotting units, deep freezer, microscopes, polarimeter, ovens, thermostatic water baths, transilluminator, electrophoretic apparatus, flame photometer, chromatographic units, electronic balances, incubators, colorimeters, autoclaves, homoginizers, sonicators, distillation apparatus and other basic equipment needed for biochemistry practical and research work are available in the Department.
 

The Departmental library is having 600 text books and 304 back volumes. A good number of reference books and journals are available in the library is located in the premises of the Department.
