INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS/PARTICIPANTS
The authors are requested to submit their abstracts(not exceeding 250 words) only through e-mails.(in ms-word format).
Maximum of three authors will be allowed per paper.
The registration fee is Rs.250/- per participant.
Each paper must have at least one registration.
Registration fee is to be sent in favor of THE CONVENOR, SPIKES'06 (through D.D before the 20th of December) or can be paid at the registration counter at the venue on the 21st Dec.
Once registered you are not allowed to change any of your team members.
The authors are requested to show their I.D. cards from the institute and acceptance letters from SPIKES'06 at the time of registration.
The authors are requested to bring 2 hard copies and 1 soft copy of full paper and it is to be submitted at the registration counter.
Free accommodation is available on first come first serve basis to limited members.
Powerpoint and OHP facilities are available for presentation.

… in a flat world, SPIKES is where the action is…..
Spikes is a national level students symposium conducted by the department of Instrument Technology, AUCE, Visakhapatnam. It was first conducted in the year 2005 and was a great hit among the student community. It is now back with a bang, all fresh with the title "SPIKES 06".
This symposium provides a platform for budding innovators to share their knowledge and exchange their views. Undergraduates in engineering discipline from various branches related to Instrumentation like ece, eee, cse, mech, biotech, etc are invited to take part in this event. It encourages the students to go beyond their text books, into a more advanced and practical world and explore the latest advancements in the field of technology.
This event gives us a chance to meet the alumni and also a chance for the alumni to actively participate in the event, and catch up with each other in the alumni meet which follows spikes 06.
The symposium is a forum for students to showcase there presentation skills and interact with peers across the country. Interactive games will ease the atmosphere , followed by the spice of cultural which will bring live the festive mood.
So, we, at the department of Instrument Technology, AUCE , take immense pleasure in inviting young and energetic to - be - engineers of India to participate in SPIKES 06 and help take our country a step forward in the world of engineering!!
