Prof.P.Vijayaprakash, Registrar, Andhra University, has said that the Andhra University, under the leadership of Prof.L.Venugopal Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, has been exposed to international academic institutions and the students and scholars were benefited from the international expertise.           

Prof.Vijayaprakash felicitated and honoured Prof.T.Venkateswarlu, Professor of Economics of University of Windsor, Canada, who delivered lectures at the Departments of Commerce and Management Studies and Economics here on Feb 28. 

            Prof.Vijayaprakash said that the lectures delivered by Prof.Venkateswarlu of University of Windsor, Canada, were useful to the University community. 

            Dr.H.Mohan Venkatram, Placement Officer and Dr.C.Ramakrishna, Assistant Professor Journalism and Mass Communication, were present on the occasion. Prof. Venkateswarlu, during his lectures, highlighted the dynamics of higher education in North America and the skill-set required in the light of globalization. He focused on the importance of work experience on the part of students while studying itself.

            He stressed the need for modifying the curriculum incorporating social dimensions.
